Template B for review

There are four main criteria that I will be judging this restaurant on. The first will be the atmosphere inside Einstein Brothers Bagels. This will be a very easy subject to review and even if people say that it may be a bit crowded inside, this restaurant does what it can with the space it has been given. They even stem off a portion of the customers to the smoothie restaurant next to einsteins in order to cut the time of the line. The second criteria will be the quality of the food. The general consensus for fats food restaurants is that the quality is very sub par, but Einsteins really uses fresh products and they do not hesitate to throw away any product that doesnt seem fresh. The third criteria will be the actual taste of the food and whether people like it or not. People love the bagels and food at einsteins and there really isnt much to defend on this issue. The final criteria is the staff at einsteins. As a whole they have an incredibly friendly staff, but there are one or two bad apples. The employees clearly enjoy their job and love making the customers happy.

Template A for review

The audience for this paper would be anyone considering going to einsteins bagels located in the business administration building. This review will provide the audience with enough information so that they can decide whether they would like to eat at this restaurant or not. As a restaurant you dont really get to much of the values aspect. However, I do know they are a predominately jewish establishment and while all of the bagels are kosher the over is not so therefore the bagels cannot be considered kosher after they are cooked. They are very keen on making money any way they can and they will try and persuade you into making your meal into a bundle so they can make more money and this angers alot of people. Their friends or customers in this situation are interestly in three things. They want good tasting food, fast service, and low prices. Einsteins is fully aware of the good tasting food and the fast service, but it seems to be the price issue that they dont understand. It seems as if every month the price goes up about 10 cents in some sneaky attempt to jack up the price without the customers noticing. They are doing a great job in the first two categories but it is the price that is killing them at the moment. The employees see the real tangible benefits as making money and seeing the satisfied looks on the customers faces when the get their food. This cannot be said for all of the employees as their are exceptions, but for the most part these are the two main benifits of einsteins employees. When it comes the corporate and the big guys upstairs, it seems as if all they care about is how to make the most money. They relentlessly come out with new sanwiches with less and less ingredients for higher and higher prices and this really needs to stop. The customer base of einsteins has already been dropping and corporate is not helping this situation. As a whole einsteins as well as its employees are doing very well and will be in business for a long time.

Commentary Outline

Issue: Cops using illegal tactics to give excessive dui's on campus
Point #1: Cops need to be monitored and not allowed to pull people of for infractions that they didnt even violate
-pulling people over for illegal lane change in an effort to give dui
-hiding in bushes/trees in order to catch people making minor infraction to give them dui
-cops automatic assumption that if you are driving on campus during a certain time then you are drunk
-complete negligence for the original violation you were pulled over for if it turns out that you are sober

Point #2: Give personal and example and friends example
-friend andrew pulled over for tail light being out at 2 am on campus
-was not the case
-let go when he blew
-personal story about being pulled over
Point #3: Give resolution and how this can be fixed
-This can be fixed by ucf cracking down on cops
-needs to be a stricter policy of who should and should not be pulled over
-cops need to be taught that they are not above the law but rather enforcing it
Conclusion:
UCF is a great school and has many great aspects about it. This is just one of the downfalls that ucf has. As students we are in fear of driving on campus at night even if we are sober and this should not be the case.

Memoir Draft

There are many issues plauging the ucf campus, but there are some issues no matter how small they may seem that need to get the most attention. As UCF students we cannot ignore the fact that cops will go to any measure to hand out duis on campus. They are pulling people over at night for the most ridiculous traffice violations with one intent, to give you a dui. This si not something that I am simply taliking about because of a bad experience that I have had, but rather because it has become a much more widespread issue around campus that is affecting everyone. Students are afraid to be on campus at night and this cannot happen. People who are not the least bit intoxicated will shy away from being on campus at night just because they know they will get pulled over anway. This is a problem that needs to be addressed immediately and will only be solved through ucf seeing and addressing the problem.
The police on ucfs campus have taken their actions to more and more of an extreme as I have been going to this university. It seems as if they think that they are above the law and will go to any measure to simply get someone pulled over and have them handcuffed in the back of their care. The amount of dui's on campus hs gone up 30 percent in the past 3 years and this is not because people are drinking and driving more but because of the cops and their insane tactics of handing out dui's.

Commentary Assignment Topic Choice

The abundance of police pulling people over on campus at night just looking to give them DUI's
It has come to my attention that it this is a very widespread issue around campus and many student are being affected by this. After doing a bit of researcher and asking around I have discovered that the overwhelming majority of students at ucf are afraid to drive on campus at night, intoxicated or not. The ucf police have began to crack down on drunk drivers on campus, but it seems as if they have gone to far. They are simply pulling everyone over they see for insigificant reasons and forcing them into doing a sobriety test. My friend andrew was driving home his two friends who lived on campus the other night and was pulled over as soon as he got onto campus. Since the people he has driving smelled of alcohol he was forced to do a sobriety test and was not able to pass it even though he was completely sober. Eventually, he was given a breathalizer and it was discovered he was sober and was allowed to go. The ucf people have it out for anyone driving on campus at night and it is affecting ucf students in a very negative way. People will shy away from going on campus at night even if it is for school related work. This is not all though, people are developing a stronger and stronger anger towards the ucf police and ucf in general and this hurts the moral of the school. It is clear that these supposively "random" stops are being taken to an extreme and they need to be monitored much closer by ucf for the sake of the students.

Commentary Assignment

Three main issues

1. The lack of use of the transportation system provided(i.e the busses/shuttles)
2. The abundance of police pulling people over on campus at night just looking to give them DUI's
3. The lack of tradition in any facit of college life on campus in comparision to other universities across the nation.
